Year 1 Victorian Day

On Thursday children in Year 1 can come dressed in costumes for Victorian Day when they will experience a school day with a difference.

Year 5 Canoeing

Please see separate letter with details but children will need to come to Hunston Jetty at 8.45 on Friday 16th May (and Friday 6th June).

Pyjamarama Day

We will also be taking part in Pyjamrama again on 22nd May- children may wear their pyjamas to school, take part in lots of reading related activities for a small contribution to the Book Trust. Find out more here. Pyjamarama 2025 | BookTrust

SATs week

SATs week is the week beginning the 12th May for our Year 6 children. We will be providing a breakfast club for the children in Year 6 from Monday to Thursday that week. The children can arrive from 8.15. Please ensure that teachers/ office are aware of any dietary requirements.

Warm Weather

The weather has taken us by surprise last week with higher than average temperatures. Please ensure that your child has a water bottle in school every day and especially when warm. Children should also have suncream applied and have a hat to wear outside when it is hot.

Staff-led clubs

These started on Tuesday- you should have received notification about this. Please ask at the office if you have any questions.

Archery Club

Unfortunately there was not enough take up for this half term but we hope to run it after half term.

Alice in Wonderland

Please make sure you have completed the form to secure your seats for the production. Year 3 and 4 performance: Alice in Wonderland 29th and 30th April Please note that babies and pre-school children are not permitted to the Tuesday and Wednesday performances but may come to the Monday dress rehearsal.

VE Day – 8th May

This year marks the 80th anniversary since the 8th May 1945 when the Second World War ended. We have been asked to join the North Mundham community on the playing fields to hoist a flag in commemoration of this event. On the day children can come to school wearing red, white and/or blue.
