Monday 15th December
IRock pupils will be showcasing their hard work this term. Parents of these pupils are welcome to come and watch at 9am.
If you child doesn’t usually bring a bag in to school, please could they bring one on Monday so that we can send home all of their belongings that are in school.
Wednesday 17th December
Christmas lunch and Christmas jumper day. Children can wear a Christmas jumper and or festive accessories with their own clothes (Year 4 and 6 still have Forest School so please make sure clothing is suitable for this). The PTA have kindly provided crackers and chocolates for each child (vegan and dairy free diets catered for). If your child is having a packed lunch, please feel free to make this a bit special and festive!
Church Service Thursday 18th December
Please can all pupils arrive in school promptly as we will be leaving for St Stephens church at 9am. Children must be in full school uniform (there will be no PE on that day) and will need a coat with them. If any parents who have a DBS check are available to walk with us, please let your child’s teacher or the office know. Parents are welcome to attend and sit in the balcony area or at the back of the church. (Please note that this gets very crowded so you may want to get there early). The service will start at approximately 9.30 and last about 40 mins.
Friday 19th December
On the last day of term children in years 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 can choose to bring in a board game to play with classmates. Please do not bring in anything electronic, precious or with small parts that could get lost.
Mr Soothill’s Guitar lessons in the afternoon as normal.
If the weather is not wet we hope to have a Christmas singsong on the playground. Parents and carers are welcome to attend from 2.30. Arrive at school for a 2:30pm start, all parents and carers welcome to join us.
This will be followed by our Kestrel house Bake Sale on playground from 3:15pm. Please could Kestrels provide some festive bakes for this event. In order to comply with regulations and support our pupils who have allergies, any home baked goodies should be labelled with a full list of ingredients.
